We conduct a thorough evaluation of your parts that need plating. Our process includes a visual inspection followed by a technical evaluation to determine the approach to take, plating process we’ll use and the steps for attaining the best results.
An early step in the process is preparing the metal surface before plating. This typically involves cleaning the part as a means of enhancing the surface to make it more receptive to the metal coating.
We use an Electro cleaning process to remove a wide range of soils and debris, including grease, paint, machining oils, hard-water scale, flash rust, waxes etc. before the plating process begins. If the parts contain imperfections, we fix them before plating.
After all the parts are cleaned and any scaling is removed, the material is pre-plated with an appropriate material. After plating we apply a chemical semi-bright process prior to Anodize. We then finish the project by polishing the parts and then conduct a final inspection before we customer pickup.

I took my muffler tail pipe in from my Harley Duece. I asked for Harley quality Chrome. When I picked up parts they chromed the bolt nut clamp all for a great price and the chrome is as good may be better than Harley. I didn't ask to have the bolt nut and clamp chromed. I am very pleased and got parts to me a week before date promised.
Pacific Plating helped me properly chrome and paint a metal Schwinn bicycle tank. I first got it chromed and then attempted to paint over the chrome using primer. Needless to say, I really botched it up. They stripped off the chrome and the paint and then re-chromed it for me at no extra charge. In the process of the re-chrome, they explained to me how to mask it so that the areas I wanted to paint would not receive chrome. They were very helpful and supportive. I will definitely give them more business.
I am restoring a 1970 Javelin SST and have been coming here for the past two months to get parts re chromed.
